Reservations for Mass are no longer required.  Doors typically open 1/2 hour before Mass.  Drive-up Holy Communion is available for those watching the live-stream immediately after Mass outside the north side door. 

Confessions are heard on the small west-side back porch of the rectory behind a screen.  Please wait outside or in your car if there is already a penitent on the porch.

Emmaus Days

Has your son considered attending the Emmaus Days retreat offered through the Peoria Diocese? Participants will hear informational talks and participate in structured prayer. In addition, there are plenty of funfilled activities like basketball, cookouts, bonfires, concerts, soccer, ultimate Frisbee, card games, and more. Emmaus Days is a wonderful opportunity to grow in faith! Session dates, which are based on age, are listed below.

For years now Holy Family Parish has been sending many young men to Emmaus Days. Most who go one year will return the next. Come see why these days mean so much to our young men! Applications are available on the website along with helpful video presentations: There are NO FEES for Holy Family parishioners who would like to attend. Please return your paperwork to the parish office.

Encounter Retreat for Girls

The Rockford Diocese offers a retreat for girls entering 7th grade through College. It is a wonderful opportunity for young ladies to grow in spirituality and discern God’s calling in their life. The retreat this year will be held June 13-15th. Checkin begins at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th, with an opening Mass at 7:00 p.m. Families are invited to stay for Mass if able. The retreat will end at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. If interested in attending, please speak with Fr. Carlson or contact the parish office.

Masses Online

For those unable to be with us in person, you can pray with us live online.  Live Mass (when available) and recordings of previous liturgies are available above or on our Facebook page.  It is best to pray with us live, when possible. 


Our current schedule: Sat Vigil at 4pm; Sun at 8am and 11am; Tues, Weds, Thurs at 7:30am.

Holy Communion is available immediately after the weekend Masses, simply drive up to the side door on the north side of the church (near the Mother's Chapel entrance).
